I was not sure that yoga would be for me but I was immediately felt welcome by Amy and as a result I immediately felt at ease. Amy manages the class with students of different experience/levels brilliantly. She caters for individual needs/levels throughout the class by adjusting and modifying postures to suit all ability levels. Amy has a way of guiding her students to new limits both physically and mentally.
She always encourages you to do your best but stresses that you should listen to your body needs. She explains and demonstrates the postures very well. Amy's classes are well balanced with the right amount of challenging postures and relaxation.
Initially I thought that the yoga classes would only increase my flexibility. However I am now aware of the importance of breathing and relaxation in every day life. Worries and anxieties are left at the door of the yoga class.
Amy is obviously passionate about yoga. She is an inspirational teacher who is patient, relaxed, professional and at times entertaining. I would definitely recommend Amy as a yoga teacher.
